The all-new ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab range offers six new models built to conquer whatever the wilderness or urban jungle throws your way. Each ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab bakkie is forged from decades’ experience manufacturing locally-engineered bakkies that deliver durability, reliability, and capability. Now with a BOLD new approach, the ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab range features the latest in automotive design, technology, comfort, and safety._
The upgraded 3.0-litre Ddi engine has been optimised for more torque at lower engine speeds, superior pull-off and acceleration, significantly reduced noise levels, and optimised fuel consumption. It delivers 140 kW of peak power at 3,600 r/min, with maximum torque of 450 Nm from 1,600 to 2,600 r/min. Our 1.9-litre Ddi engine is a new powertrain added to the ISUZU D-MAX range. Replacing the 2.5-litre engines found in earlier models, it uses common rail direct injection to produce a maximum power output of 110 kW at 3,600 r/min, with peak torque of 350 Nm available between 1,800 and 2,600 r/min. The result - superb fuel economy and low running costs.
SERIOUS TORQUE
In addition to boosted power across the all-new ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab range, you can look forward to a revised body and frame with increased strength, new front and rear suspension with a longer wheelbase, and a new wider and tougher chassis. Now with a wading depth of 800mm, water crossings are a breeze.On- and off-road performance is further enhanced by electronic rear differential lock and overall improved ride and handling.
BOOSTED OFF-ROAD PERFORMANCE
Smart, ‘gradelogic’ transmission prevents over- revving and unnecessary fuel burn by ensuring that the new ISUZU D-MAX Extended Cab bakkies stay in the best gear for the workplace. Overall weight reduction also contributes to excellent fuel consumption at just 7.9 litres per 100km depending on prevailing conditions and driving habits(please see range brochure for more information).
